What got you into cosplay?
Manga, namely magical girl series like Cardcaptor Sakura, Tokyo Mew Mew, and Sailor Moon, although I've never done a Sailor Moon cosplay. Videogames are a big influence, too.
What was your first costume and why?
My friend and I were Ichigo and Lettuce in the cafe uniforms from Tokyo Mew Mew. It was Halloween, and we just wanted to be them.
What is your favorite costume and why?
I have at least 3 favorites, since I love them all so much. Firstly, Sakura from Reservoir Chronicle: TSUBASA, in her princess costume from the land of Clow in book 1 of the manga. It's really comfy and I'm happy with how it came out. Then there's my Rachel costume I made in December for our Radiata Stories group cosplay. Although it shows a little skin, I still find it really fun to wear. And then of course, there's my Peppita Rosetti costume from Star Ocean 3: 'Til the End of Time. Her bangles are the most fun accessories of all time! I wish I could wear them more often.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Any of the huge complicated and beautiful outfits of Sakura's from both Tsubasa and Cardcaptor Sakura. Also, tons of Full Moon wo Sagashite costumes, more complicated Radiata Stories ones, and Utena's Rose Bride gown.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
...Probably our first contest at Animazement, with our skit. We felt sooo happy and excited when we got off the stage, so our energy just surged out as we cheered for other groups after us and we had a great time overall. It's been that way every year since. ^_^
Do you participate in masquerades?
Animazement doesn't have "masquerades" it just has the "Cosplay Contest." So yes, I do.
What was your best masquerade experience?
Animazement '08, in which I did a Chobits skit with my self-founded group WHOOSH! Cosplay. Everyone kept going "Chiiii!" after we left the stage. It annoyed the judges and we didn't win a prize, but it was so nice to know that people liked our skit that much. ^_^

Tell us a little about yourself
I do commissions and make clothes, plushies, manga, and other artsy things to sell (and also for myself... mwahahaha). I have a mom, dad, little sister, dog, and dead cat. I love to sew, cook, photograph, draw, write, etc...
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
I'm 18, and everyone in my group is, or is one year younger than me or a year or two older. How old did you think we were? (We've gotten "12" as a guess before.)
