Besides cosplay, I am an actor, writer, filmmaker, and student of Aki Batto (a school of katana training focusing heavily on response and counter-attacking). I am the co-owner of a videography business and I teach English literature and world mythology part-time.

What got you into cosplay?

What was your first costume and why?
Squall Leonhart. Final Fantasy VIII. Not only is FFVIII my favorite RPG of all time (though Lost Odyssey currently has a choke hold on it for the title), but also Squall has always held a personal connection to me. (I won't cosplay any character who doesn't.) Plus, come on. Gunblade. No brainer.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Ug. Too many great ones, although I especially enjoy costumes with elaborate/striking props to lug around.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Kaim Argonar. Lost Odyssey. I'm convinced Mistwalker designed Kaim's armor as a challenge to hardcore cosplayers. Study his armor for five minutes from a desig point of view and your head will blow, and I don't even want to think about constructing the sword. Mark my words though. It will be done. (I have to please my girlfriend.)
