I started martial arts 20 years ago, beginning with Tae Kwon Do at the age of four under the late Grand Master Kim Sang Soo (aka Tiger Kim). Earned my first black belt at the age of 14 under Herb Perez, the 1992 Tae Kwon Do Olympic gold medallist. A year later I earned my black belt in kickboxing. I'm a former paratrooper and was part of the airborne contingent during the Invasion of Iraq in 2003, which led to me being Wounded In Action during a firefight in Basra. Before I was discharged from the military I was part of the Army Tae Kwon Do Team and trained regularly with the Royal Ghurkha Regiment. I currently hold black belts in 3 martial arts styles and I train 2~3 hours a day, 7 days a week. I help run a Tae Kwon Do school in the UK where we also teach Thai boxing and ground fighting. My main hobbies are stretching and kicking people in the head. I enjoy competing and I've won several national tournaments. I love to read manga and watch anime, particularly those with a martial arts theme.
