What got you into cosplay?
Friends, and the challenge of something new
What was your first costume and why?
Piccolo, from Dragon Ball Z - a friend and I decided to make Piccolo and Gohan, because they had fun interactions. And big shoulder armor.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Gourry Gabriev, from Slayers - because I spent a long time getting the armor as accurate as possible, and had fun making the Sword of Light.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Several. Siegfried, from Soul Calibur 3. Wing Zero, from Gundam Wing. Parn, from Record of Lodoss War.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Being asked to give a quick presentation at a cosplay panel on resin casting, which I was completely unprepared for.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Not yet.
Tell us a little about yourself
Professionally, I work as a graphics programmer in the video games industry. On my off time, I enjoy reading, programming, and making costumes (naturally).
