I'm a 20-something cosplayer originally from Michigan. I love anime of all types but I seem to like ones best with strong female heroines or girls who overcome tough odds. I like manga too. My favorite manga-kas are Wataru Yoshizumi, Yuu Watase, and Tomoko Hayakawa.

What got you into cosplay?
I always loved dressing up as a kid. I once went as Atreyu from The Neverending Story for Halloween, a hand made costume. I knit Rikku's scarf from FF X-2 and tried cosplaying as her. That didn't turn out well as I didn't have the body so until I slim down I'm dedicated to cosplaying for my body type.
What was your first costume and why?
Rikku thief Final Fantasy X-2. Had knit the scarf on a whim and went with it.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Athena Asamiya from King of Fighters. I loved cosplaying as her and I used one of her older costumes so the hardcore fans really really appreciated it.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Lina Inverse. I wouldn't have to wear a wig.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
A bad one unfortunately. I was in my Athena costume and a guy who hadn't showered all con (this was a Sunday) and had been playing DDR a lot "glomped" me and I had to go shower and change to get the smell off.
Do you participate in masquerades?
No. I hate stages

Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Not yet :)
Tell us a little about yourself
I hate my job, love my friends, live too far away from my family, and I knit, crochet, sew, and watch anime.
