To my Sensei, who teaches me with a firm grip (literally o.0) the meaning of being patient at a fast speed, and getting everything perfect the first time I learn it! honto ni domo arigato gozaimasu!

What got you into cosplay?
My love for Japanese Street fashion. I think it mostly started out as pure curiosity, but then evolved a bit. I actually didnt like the idea of cosplay, but then, I decided, maybe it isnt so bad to have fun sometimes and escape the horrors of reality every now and then.
What was your first costume and why?
Sasuke Uchiha because he was my favorite Naruto character back in the day. lol
What is your favorite costume and why?
L. For some reason... I get more attention as L... It used to be Genesis, but I find it easier to be myself as L. *nod**nod*
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Hee. Hee. My ultimate goal is to one day create the famous U+K Gackt mascot. Getting the materials for it though is such a hassle!! *growl*
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
For Anime Central 2008, I decided to try my hand at L from Death Note after being Genesis for half of the day on Saturday. I thought I would try out sitting in the lobby with my sweets in a chair like L does, and stare at everyone as the walk by while I eat my sugar cubes and dum dums with great liking. I tried my best to stay in character, and I found that it was actaully easy as it was fun! People started to crowd around me and start taking pictures. At first, it was a bit intense then I just started to pay more attention to my sugar cubes than the people. Well, this one guy came up to me and said: Wow. Amazing. You are like, the perfect L I have seen all weekend. I cant even tell if you are a guy or a girl!' I just nodded to being a girl, and then offered him a dum dum and whispered: 'If you promise to keep this secret, then this sucker is yours.' He laughed and got my picture. It was so cool to see so many people stand in a circle around me like that. I walked around barefooted all night (which was a HUGE relief compared to my genesis boots. >_<) and I always made sure to sit like L. People were surprisingly impressed with my impersonation of him. Even Jack Skelington and to come and grab my chain from Mana and get my picture with him! lol Of course, I HAD to get one of HIM!!! I love Jack from Nightmare Before Christmas!
Do you participate in masquerades?
Nope. Never really the availability to actually do those.
What was your best masquerade experience?
Watching. @.o
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Never really thought about competing or anything like that. That's why I have martial arts. ^_~

In school. Highschool for 1/2 day and College 1/2 day. Bookseller. Hobbies...(not in order of preference)... Music, Sewing, Costuming, J-Street Fashion, Graphic Design, Film making, Photography, Art, martial arts, japanese dance (tozan ryu), kitsuke, Living my own life
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
The one thing in the world that I want to do... I will never be able to do it. But it helps to know that I have the ability to dream it.
