About Me / Q&A
What was your first costume and why?
My first was Major Motoko Kutsunagi because she is amazing!! Not only was it the first anime I was introduced to but it is also my favorite anime but its my favorite female character. I decided to cos as her for my first because I like challenges :)
What is your favorite costume and why?
Most people would think C. Viper but its Elika without a doubt.
There is an in depth sorry behind the costume basically leading up to me meeting my boyfriend and cosplay partner.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Of course, and that list is ever growing!
Tell us a little about yourself
Hello all! My name is Tifani but I go by PhoenixKasai to most cosplayers. I've been cosplaying since 2007 when I started with my first version of Motoko Kusanagi from Ghost in the Shell, since then I've been hooked. I've done many more costumes since then and I have been lucky enough to have some of my work shown in different cosplay reviews and articles. I have to say my favorite part of cosplay has to be creating costumes and modeling them in photoshoots.
I act and model professionally as well as being a full time bridal seamstress for a local designer. I do accept commission work, so feel free to PM me if you would like a quote. :)
I really love cosplay and the fact that it gives me an outlet. I hope to always portray the characters as closely as possible... truth be told, I'm a bit of a perfectionist!
I especially love to meet more cosplayers out there! Our community is so unique and there never seems to be quite enough of us out there.. so I believe we should all turn at least one of our friends into a cosplayer ;) So go get on it!
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
