While I started back in 2005 cosplaying I haven't done very many due to school and work. Now I am done with school and intend on making Cosplay not only my love but my second job, because shouldn't we all love our job? ;)

I take time on costumes (I'm pretty picky) and instead of using patterns exactly I usually butcher them to make exactly what I want. Yes, I am the Ohno (Genshiken) of our group and yes, I find pleasure in bending the will of others around me and force them into cosplay.. by force I mean..

Me -"hey you should let me make you a costume, for cosplay."
Friend-"Hmm.."
Me-"come on.. you know you want to." :D
Friend - "Hmm... well.. ok."

.. and they thank me afterwards :)

I have made enough costumes that now I'm starting to commission pieces. I will be busy with commissions and my own pieces until May 2009, but PM me if you are needing a commissioner and I can see what I can do ;)

And yes.. I need to be more diligent about uploading pictures :S

What got you into cosplay?
When I first met my husband he introduced me to anime.. and it was like the new me was born!! We've been together for almost 4 years so I'm still fairly new to anime. But when I learned about cosplay I became hooked!! I was always a complete goof in high school and loved theatre so why wouldn't cosplay appeal to me?!
What was your first costume and why?
My first was Major Motoko Kutsunagi because she is amazing!! Not only was it the first anime I was introduced to but it is also my favorite anime but its my favorite female character. I decided to cos as her for my first because I like challenges :) While it did end up alright for my first, it took me a lot of time and I didn't start with a good enough plan (plus I wasn't ballsy enough to do the pants-less version). Eventually I would like to cos as her again, but I'm sure it will be several years.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I would love to make Nono's No. 7 costume from Gunbuster 2!! This is her gunbuster version and it is so cool!! Not only will the costume be hard to make, but its the details with hers that makes it so unique. While the contacts and leg prostetics will be hard enough, the real trick will be pulling off her wig correctly. I have a few ideas though ;)
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
The first time I cos'd (Motoko) some kid came up to me at A-kon and asked if he could hug me.. it was kinda cute! (He actually asked for a 2nd hug later too) But I never saw Motoko as a "hugable" character.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
No, usually I miss judging due to photoshoots... but this year will be different!! ::vowes::
