What got you into cosplay?
Just seeing all the amazing things that people can create and replicate from their favorite series and with the oddest of things too....it's just awesome! To try and live a little taste of your hobby is something that I find to be the most fun and fulfilling
What was your first costume and why?
Sailor Mars from Sailor Moon, and why? Because I love the character of Sailor Mars/Rei Hino She's such a strong character in the sense of loyalty toward her friends and loved ones and has an unrelenting drive to follow what she sets her heart out to do.
What is your favorite costume and why?
My Princess Mars gown, why? Because this was my first cosplay that I ever did that I didn't commission and sewed myself even though my sewing machine was crappy and needed work on.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Yes, I would like to make the white kimono that Hinoto from X/1999 wears through out the series. I would like to be able to pull it off 100% one day with the contacts and right wig and perfect material for the kimono itself
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
My most memorable experience would have to be when I was cosplaying as my Eternal Sailor Mars for the first time and people were saying how well done it was. Since it was my second costume I've made I have had such pride over it and know now what other seamstresses/and fellow male seam-masters go through in the means of blood, sweat, tears and sleepless nights
Do you participate in masquerades?
No, but I plan to one day down the road.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Not yet but I'm hoping one day that my sewing skills get really good to where they will be acknowledged

I am in college going for a degree in Registered Nursing Have three jobs, three cats, two siblings and happily married parents (23 years)
