What got you into cosplay?
I just have always been in love with anime and manga, and cosplay came naturally after that.
What was your first costume and why?
First cosplay...Tsunade from Naruto for Halloween. That was fun. I picked her since I was super into Naruto at the time.
What is your favorite costume and why?
For my favorite, it would have to be one which I'm in the process of making, Nnoitra Jiruga from Bleach. Since it looks awesome and I think a friend might do Tesla at the same time, although we're fighting the little voices in our heads about it...
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Yeah, I'd love to be Yuko Ichihara from xxxHolic, her outfit when she meets Sakura and the others. That or one that I'm almsot done with, Wonderwice from Bleach.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
So far, when I was Rangiku Matsumoto in Karakura uniform and got to randomly hug a Toshiro. I have pictures.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Not yet, but I plan to.
Tell us a little about yourself
I'm in school, and I seriously dislike it. Well, I'll get through it. I love acting, particuarly musical theater, and adore singing. I like to sing in Japanese, and am an avid reader.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
I've handsewed dolls of arrancar before. My favorite is my Szayel one, done in the style of his voodoo dolls. And I write fanfiction on Fanfiction.net under the same penname. I'm also in a band with my friends, though I won't reveal the name yet.
My favorite anime
Bleach is my favorite, no contest. But other loves include Ouran High School Host Club, Naruto, Fruits Basket, and xxxHolic.
My favorite game(s)
Right now, I'd say Psychonauts, though Okami is another fave. And who does not love Guitar Hero? Rock Band also rules, especialy since I can sing! And the love of many, DDR.
My favorite book(s)
Twilight series, Harry Potter series, and I'll always hold His Dark Materials dear. Also Life of Pi, Maximum Ride series, and The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime.
My favorite character(s)
Bleach: So hard! But I love Wonderwice (he's so kawaii and innocent!), Ulquiorra (emo or not? You decide), Luppi (Why'd he have to die?), Szayel (Hooray for the scientist!), Aizen (I will rule the world mwahahaha!), Nnoitra (he may be crazy, but that's cool!), Tesla (With his Nnoitra-sama...), Gin (crazy smile man say hi), Ilfort (Cowboy!), Circe (I like her zanpaukto), D-Roy (ROY...INVINCIBLE!)...the list goes on.
Naruto: Tsunade, who is not shallow and kicks serious butt.
Host Club: Tamaki, since he's so funny.
Furuba: Hmm...I'd say Momiji, since he's so kind and sweet.
xxxHolic: Yuko. I can't help myself.
Harry Potter: Tie between Ginny and Luna.
His Dark Materials: Marisa Coulter, for personal reasons.
My favorite movies(s)
As of late...Iron Man, V for Vendetta, Princess Mononoke, Harry Potter, The Golden Compass, and Finding Nemo (for my reasons).
