What got you into cosplay?
Video games, anime and books are a nice escape from reality. The idea of dressing up like the characters from video games or anime, getting into character and meeting others that are interested in the same things you are is amazing.
What was your first costume and why?
the Man in Black. I dressed like him for "Pirate Day" at a local Ren Fest. It was cool because when people knew who I was you could tell they were really into the Princess Bride because they would get all excited and quote the movie or just call out "Westly!"
What is your favorite costume and why?
Prince. He's my first try at making everything by hand and I have so much time invested in him.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I really like to write and draw and there are a few characters I've created, that are close to my heart and I think it would be amazing to be able to cosplay them. Maybe if I ever get my stories publiushed and people know who I'm cosplaying. :)
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Having everyone call out "Dante!" to get me to participate in a life-size chess game. Sorry, folks. Standing around waiting for someone to tell me what to do just isn't my style.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
I once got a little drawing from this fan-girl of Sven. That was pretty cool.
Tell us a little about yourself
I'm a Fine Art graduate out of DAAP, the art college at the University of Cincinnati. I enjoy any form of expression from drawing to writing or playing the guitar.

I do photo-manipulation in my free time. I have some pics I did from my cosplay that I can't post on here because it contains art, but I put them (and others) on my webpage. Feel free to check it out and let me know what you think. =)
My favorite anime
I enjoy most anime that I've seen. My favorites so far are Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Voices of a Distant Star, Blood+, Devil May Cry, Bleach, Ghost in the Shell, .hack//SIGN, Witchblade, Orphen, Kino's Journey, Black Cat, Wolf's Rain, Burst Angel, Death Note, Black Lagoon. And I know it's not an anime but I love "The Guild".

All of the Devil May Cry, Final Fantasy and Metal Gear Solid series, I also really enjoyed Grandia, Fable II, ARMY of TWO and Primal.
