What got you into cosplay?
My friends introduced it to me, and taught me how to do it. I've always like dressing up anyway. I became like a perfectionist about cosplaying. I'll spend whatever amount of money to create a cosplay up to my standards, no matter how long it takes.
What was your first costume and why?
Ruka from Vampire Knight, but it was so bad I can't even show you. I didn't have a wig, and well I was very inexperienced; I remember walking around the convention, with frizzy, brown hair as Ruka's is a long, wavy, blonde. I hope to improve her in the future, though.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Star Boobs Yoko from Gurren Lagann at the end of the series. BEST thing ever. I got Kyle Hebert to sign my glove.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Yeah, I want to cosplay Ed from FMA because he is love. No, really because he is such an amazing character, with a strong personality and is so well developed. I'm not sure if I'd ever be able to pull him off though, he's too blonde, and I'm too Greek >.< I also am working on a few versions of C.C., and possibly Kallen from Code Geass.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Just this last past June, I had a Gurren Lagann photo shoot out in the rain. Although we all got wet, it was so much fun. Row row, bitches.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Working on it...
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
I've never entered any contests before. >.< I would like to in the future.
Tell us a little about yourself
I'm a High School student, and can't wait to get out. I like web designing, drawing, computers/videos and that shat, horse back riding (I love you Joey!) swimming, volley ball... Oh, and fanfiction, that's always fun >.>
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
I've only been sewing for about half a year, but I've been able to make just about anything I set my mind, too. Cosplaying is my 'secret' hobby I am totally obsessed with. No one knows about it except Cosplay.com and people at anime conventions. It's fun, worth the time, and a bit strange :D
