About Me / Q&A
What got you into cosplay?
Well I have always loved anime. When I was young I would wake up extra early just to watch Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball. Growing older I widened my horizes and began to watch other anime. Soon I moved and met new friends who where into the same things as me. They told me about anime conventions. Now since I was little, I have always enjoyed dressing up. Anime conventions just gave me an excuse to do it more often. So I guess my awnser to this question would have to be: My love of anime and my friends got me into cosplaying!
What was your first costume and why?
Gaara from Naruto. Because well I was kinda obsessed with him...
What is your favorite costume and why?
My favorite... Hmmm... That would have to be my Nico Robin, Miss All Sunday outfit. I'm kinda proud of the coat.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Fou from D.Grey-Man and Risty from Queen's Blade. I really need the body for them though. Happily I am loosing weight and shaping my body to make this cosplay work!
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Izumi from Fullmetal Alchemist. On the way from the con that I first wore it to, my mother's car pretty much blew up. First we hit a bump and the rear veiw mirrior fell into my lap. Then on the way home my friends and I were singing to random songs, and the front windshild cracked in half, then a wierd black smoke started to rise from the engin. After that we left my friends about a block from their homes, and went home. Later that night I got a frantic call asking if I was alive. It turns out that after my mom and I pulled away my friendsa saw a line of firetrucks drive by, going in the direction we were headed...
Do you participate in masquerades?
Yep! I've done skits and multiple walk ons. The skits still terrify me!
What was your best masquerade experience?
Otakon '08. First skit and most favorite. Damn it was terrifying, but the skit turned out great!
