What got you into cosplay?
I've always loved dressing up in costumes since I was little, and when I found anime, and through that cosplay, well I just couldn't resist! I jump at any and every costuming opertunity, and cosplay just adds to my selection.
What was your first costume and why?
My first anime-related costume was my 4th and 5th grade Halloween costume of Sailor Moon. (also, at one costume party somewhere around there i dressed as princess serenity) My first costume made for a convention was Miaka Yuuki, the main character of my current favorite manga Fushigi yuugi.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Aeris from Advent Children. It's my newest costume as of July 2007 and I love it so much. It came out great and everyone tells me I look just like her when I wear it. It also is tied to some great memories from this year's Connecticon, my favorite convention which I've been to since it started in 2003.

What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
My first most memorable experiance was Connecticon 2004 where I (dressed as Songstress Yuna) by coincidence met a Lenne standing right behind me in line. With a spur of the moment idea, she taught me the first half of the chorus to "1000 Words" so we could sing it together in our 1 minute on stage. Second major memorable experiance I'd have to say my most memorable experience was at Connecticon 2007 when I dressed as Aeris and got a request to hit Sepheroth with my staff, and then he ended up handing me his masamune so I could stab HIM. Oooh, Aeris got her revenge alright! Tehe ^_^
Do you participate in masquerades?
Yep!
What was your best masquerade experience?
My best masq. experiance has to be the PortCon 2008 masq. where my friends and I won the OMGWTFBBQ award for our skit "Disney Heck" and were given a sausage as a prize. Most of you wouldn't understand the significance, but for us that was the perfect prize.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
At Connecticon 2004, my first time in a costume contest, I won the award for Best Costume from a Game by an Adult or Teen. Tell us a little about yourself
I'm a theater major at a college in New England where I'm a member of the Theater Student Advisory Board, a soprano in the chamber choir, and the president of the gaming club. I LOVE acting as well as singing, writing, and drawing. I work at a bake shop.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
I have been taking voice lessons since I was 14 and my dream job is to be a Broadway actress, voice actor, theatrical costume designer, and/or journalist.

My favorite manga is Fushigi Yuugi, though I really want to start reading Mermaid Melody Pichi-Pichi Pitch, and my favorite books include The Passion, The Hichikers Guide to the Galexy, The Last Book in the Universe, Farenheite 451, The Giver, and The Handmaid's Tale.
