About Me / Q&A

What got you into cosplay?
Well, technically when I was younger I did costumes of characters from games and anime for Halloween since it's my favorite holiday of the year. Getting to be something or someone else for a day can be fun. So naturally my passion for gaming and anime combined with my love for Halloween into a wonderful mix.
What was your first costume and why?
Back in my teenage years I loved Dragon Ball Z (surprise surprise) and Goku was my favorite character at the time so for Halloween my senior year I used an old Tae Kwon Do uniform I had, dyed it orange and bought some boots and wrist bands and presto.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
If it weren't for money or ability, I'd love to do Ramza from Final Fantasy Tactics in his Chapter 4 armor. My prop making is improving so maybe one day.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Probably the first time I cosplayed at an actual convention and had people running up to me asking for pictures, hugs, etc. just because I was dressed up as a character they like. It was really eye opening.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Not yet. Maybe one day.
