What got you into cosplay?
I was invited to Ushicon and I felt really obligated to dress up.
What was your first costume and why?
Aeris Gainsborough. Final Fantasy VII WAS my favorite video game at the time, and there was no character I would rather dress up as more back then.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Zola. At the time I was the first person to ever cosplay her, and I did it as accurately as I possibly could. I was very proud.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Either my MarzGurl character, or the Bassist of Interstella from the movie Interstella 5555.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Meeting people at conventions I had only previously seen online has been really cool. Stopping to have conversations with them is even cooler.
Do you participate in masquerades?
I have, but for the most part, no.
What was your best masquerade experience?
Tie between the s-CRY-ed skit I helped perform with Thoughtscape Industries or my Blue Dragon walk-on at Oni-Con 2007.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Judges Award for my "skit" with Elena of the Turks at Oni-Con 2005.
Tell us a little about yourself
Just came back from three months of school in Japan. Work tech support. Going back to school again in the fall. Living with three other roommates. Love filming and editing.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
