What got you into cosplay?
Nothing in particular, I basically just woke up one day and decided to cosplay.
What was your first costume and why?
Tohru Honda from Fruits Basket. It was originally just a schoolgirl outfit I used for Halloween, but that's where the inspiration came from and I later wore it to an anime expo.
What is your favorite costume and why?
It changes a lot. Currently it's Christmas!Chi from Chobits/Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicles.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Yes, mostly in the construction category, rarely in performance.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Yes, five: Placed (there were no rankings) at Comic Arts & Anime Teen Expo '09 with my Lady Mario, 3rd at Kin-Yoobi Con '09 with my Amaterasu, first in the "Hand-Made" division at Holiday Anime Faire '09 with my Amaterasu, runner-up in the "Construction" category at Animation On Display '10 with my Amaterasu, and placed (again no places) at Holiday Anime Faire '10 with my Clyde.
Tell us a little about yourself
I am currently going to school to study marine biology. I also work as a Program Director for Game-Zone Recreation and help put on Kin-Yoobi Con once a year.
