What got you into cosplay?
Went to my first convention, AMA 2 and was so blown away by all the great costumes I decided it would be fun to join in the next year.
What was your first costume and why?
Jigen. My boyfriend and I love Lupin and Jigen and thought it would be recognizable, yet not too common and easy to make on a low budget with no costume making skills.
What is your favorite costume and why?
I liked being Jigen, I love the hat and even the construction paper beard we made.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Kyuzo from Samurai 7, Yako & Neuro from Majin Tantei Nogami Neuro, Koyuki from Beck, Sotaru Seno & Toma Shikura from Persona Trinity Soul, Kazuhiko Yukimi & Yoite from Nabari no Ou, Van from Escaflowne, and the Hitachiin Twins from Ouran High School Host Club.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
the fact that dolst actually looked like a good Zeon in 2005.
Do you participate in masquerades?
yes
What was your best masquerade experience?
dolst and I did a skit with Sakaki and Karasuma from Witch Hunter Robin and pretty much pulled off a parody of a Geico commercial. That was fun.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
no, we have won 3 awards and an honorable mention for skits
Tell us a little about yourself
I'm a mechanical engineer working hard most of my days. I love anime(of course), ska, emo, oldies and mod music and PS2 games and horror movies, especially the classic ones.
