What got you into cosplay?
I wanted to go to Anime Expo 08, just to dress up, but I don't particularly watch anime, so my boyfriend made some suggestions, and well...yeah.
What was your first costume and why?
Officially, Ryuugu Rena, from Higurashi, it's my boyfriend's favorite anime, and he thought I could pull it off, so I went for it. But really, I've dressed up for every possible occasion I can, movie premiers, dances, school events, random days...Not always necessarily as a character, but just for the sake of dressing up.
What is your favorite costume and why?
I love my Anastasia dress.
Mainly because it fits so nicely and I got the hair just right and I found the most perfect jewelery. haha.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
aahhh.
I keep seeing Rydia costumes.
They're sooo pretty, and I'd have a ton of creative freedom.
So definitely Rydia.
And Gwendolyn from Odin Sphere!
I love the gown, and someday, I'll get the Valkyrie armor done as well, but not 'till I can get it right. I've seen too much fail.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Fairly Oddparents by a longshot.

My favorite anime
Strangely enough, I don't watch anime at all. I've only ever watched Death Note, and Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, for when I dressed up. I actually ended up liking Higurashi, and went ahead and watched the second season. But for the most part, it's just not my cup of tea.
I'll keep an open mind about it though.
