What got you into cosplay?
I remember hearing from my friends about Anime Conventions; i think i was too nervous to go thinking it would be too crazy! Then finally I got the courage and went with them. BEST DECISION EVER, HAHA! So my friends got my hooked :)
What was your first costume and why?
My first costume was Haruhi Suzumiya. I actually died my hair brown and got contacts just so I could be her! Some commitment, eh? I chose to cosplay as her since I was watching the series at the time and I really liked her.
What is your favorite costume and why?
My favourite cosplay is Asuka Langely. Neon Genesis Evangelion is just about my absolute favourite anime of all time and Asuka is one of my favourite characters. I find that her personality and mine are similar in some ways. Plus I love the school uniform.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I would one day like to pull off Asuka's plugsuit and Yoko from Gurren Lagann.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
The Anime Swimsuit contest at Anime Evolution 2009! So nerve-wracking but I had so much fun even if i didn't win.
