What got you into cosplay?
I was on a website and I saw people dressed up as Naruto characters and I was like: "I wanna do this. It seems cool". But I never knew where to begin, so I waited and looked on more websites and started to make a costume.
What was your first costume and why?
My first cosplay was Yourichi from Bleach. When I first started watching Bleach I saw Yoruichi and I completely fell in love with her. All of my friends said that I would make a good Yoruichi and I was cool with that.
What is your favorite costume and why?
So far it's Team Magma. Many people know of Pokemon and love it. Plus I had two of my friends cosplay Magma Grunts with me so it's better to cosplay in groups.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Yes, but everyone has a dream costume they want to make. I'll wait till I've been cosplaying for a few more years till I make that decision.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Yes, I've only been to one so far...
What was your best masquerade experience?
EXPcon 2011: I was dressed as Adiane from the Double K manga. I forgot what song came on but the group that I was with made a dancing circle and a few other people joined us. And the whole time I was in a long dress in high heels doing kicks and turning around. It was a lot of fun and I can't wait to go to another one!!
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Orlando Anime Day #4: 2nd place in the cosplay contest as Litchi Faye Ling(Blazblue) EXPcon 2011: Hallway Award for Beat Group for Team Magma(Pokemon)
