What got you into cosplay?
Attending conventions you can't really help but NOT get into cosplay. <3
What was your first costume and why?
My first costume was Haruhi Fujioka from Ouran. It took a year of planning and a lot of Ouran watching, but it got done in time for Comic-con '08!
What is your favorite costume and why?
Kanda Yu from D.Gray-man. My Haruhi comes in a close second, but I just finished Kanda this year and I couldn't be more proud of it. Although I need better shoes... We got a lot of compliments on this outfit, even tourists wanted to take some pictures with us! :)
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Gankutsuou, D.gray-man, something from Sailor Moon (A childhood dream. <3)
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Ouran high school Host club group cosplay. Everyone was very excited seeing us all and we made a lot of people laugh. / Now I'd have to say D.gray-man, it was an amazing year with no drama or chaos we met a lot of nice people got interviewed and photographed many times and it was just all around epic~
Do you participate in masquerades?
Nope. Maybe one day.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
No. But people mentioned they would vote for us had we entered the best costume contest.
Tell us a little about yourself
Currently enrolled in Hawaii Pacific University as a Junior. I enjoy photography, writing and musicals! <3 I bobble back and forth between Hawaii and California and go to as many conventions as I can afford!
