What got you into cosplay?
I'd have to say...my best friend. She and I attended a couple conventions together and it just caught on. As for what anime got us into cosplay...that would probably be Bleach :)
What was your first costume and why?
My first cosplay was Rukia from Bleach and I think I decided on that one because it fit with the cosplay group I was going with as well as it seemed like a simple enough costume to start with.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Definitely Near from Death Note. There's a charm about carrying around toys with you all day.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Oh wow, something from Paradise Kiss or Ergo Proxy
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Probably the first time I dyed my hair for a costume. I had to dye my hair black for the cosplay, but because of a mislabel I ended up with vibrant purple hair...that didn't wash out for 3 months.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Yes, Yes I do.
What was your best masquerade experience?
My first masquerade was at Anime North 2008 and it was just such a cool experience, my friends and I had a ton of fun XD
