What got you into cosplay?

Lelalee lee, i wasn't even a huge fan of D.Gray-man, i still couldn't get into the series that much but liked her character and her style What is your favorite costume and why?
my shugo chara cosplay, it took me a lot of work to make and it was nice that my grandmother helped me make it as well. Plus it got a lot of attention at AX '08 and it was awesome to go around with other girls in the same cosplay taking pictures! Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Sakura from card captor sakura, the first opening costume. but i'm sooo picky over how its' made it would never be perfect enough for me... What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
ax'08 having so many people stopping me asking for my picture. i've had people ask before in other cosplays but not as much as they did in my shugo chara cosplay. It was so much fun! Do you participate in masquerades?
