What got you into cosplay?
Anime in general I suppose. Seeing all the cosplayers online inspired me to start. My first costume snowballed into a huge hobby and I make at least three to ten costumes a year.
What was your first costume and why?
Chichiri from Fushigi Yugi because I loved the character and I knew I could pull off the costume and accesories as a beginner.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Dark Link from Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. For one, I love the game and the costume is fun to wear and comfortable. I also love costumes that have accessories like swords to pose with.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I have so many costumes I want to make, but I suppose I've wanted to make Ihrie from Ruin Explorers since I've started cosplaying.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Having the crowd in front of Otakon calling out, "Chichiri!" Its so much fun making other people happy simply by cosplaying.
Do you participate in masquerades?
A few masquerades, I love being on stage, but sometimes getting through lines and waiting is killer. However I have won awards for Mitsurugi and Vincent, lots of fun! ^_^
What was your best masquerade experience?
Getting to talk to people while waiting in line to go up, I love talking to other cosplay fanatics, we're like a big extended family ^_^
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Best of Show for Vincent at Matsuricon 2006 and Judges Award for Mitsurugi at Ohayocon 2004.
Tell us a little about yourself
Going to an art college definitely helps in the costume making department! Other than the whole not having any free time part ^^;;

Golden Boy, GTO, Fruits Basket, Tenjo Tenge, Utena, Bastard, Rurouni Kenshin Spirited Away, Akira.

PHOENIX WRIGHT: Ace Attorney (best game EVER)Final Fantasy 7, Legend of Zelda series, Chrono Cross, Chrono Trigger, Lunar: Silver Star Story, Golden Sun, most RPGs are pretty good especially if they're Squaresoft/Enix.

I really enjoy the Chronicles of Narnia, the Harry Potter series, and Mind of the Magic by Holly Lisle, sci-fi/ fantasy is so good!
