What got you into cosplay?
Jackie and Eileen Ferro. The 'cosplay twins'. They invited me to Anime Boston back in 05, so they helped me throw a costume together for it.
What was your first costume and why?
Saiyuki Gaiden version of Son Goku. It was easy and cheap to make.
What is your favorite costume and why?
I'm torn between two...Haruhi Suzumiya and Nami.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
A human version of Okami Amaterasu.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
I don't think I can name just one memorable experience. I've had some pretty cool things happen at every con I attend.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Of course!
What was your best masquerade experience?
Performing our skit "Not ANOTHER Hare Hare Yukai" at Otakon 2008.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
No. Most of my outfits are not made by me, so I will not participate in costume contests.
Tell us a little about yourself
-I go to Hesser College for film/radio broadcasting.
-I have a wonderful boyfriend who cosplays with me. He's the best! <3
-I work at Sears Portrait Studio as a photographer. I also work part time at Boston Heart Labs.
-I'm big into improv. I've been involved with it since I was 14.
-I love meeting and hanging out with people at cons! If you see me, don't hesitate to introduce yourself!
