What got you into cosplay?
Internet ! I had my first internet access in 1999 and the first thing i did was looking for Sailor Moon pictures ^^; And i found japanese cosplay pictures. I think it was Barbie and Kai Takeda as Sailor moon and Sailor Venus. I thought they were wearing promotional costumes and immediately wanted one for me. It's only a few month later that i realised they were cosplayers... And as i love sewing i had to give it a try !
What was your first costume and why?
My first "costume" was Ashura from Rg Veda... but it was so horrible that i never took any pictures of it : i didn't really know how to sew. The first costume i made and wore at a convention was "the Chams" from Perfect Blue. I absolutely adored the movie and am a fan of Satoshi Kon's works, i thought the costumes were cute, simple and terribly ironic. I made all 3 costumes for me and 2 of my friends, it was not elaborate at all but i loved it.
What is your favorite costume and why?
My favourite ? I don't really know, maybe my Setsuka costume which was a very hard work, it's the one i'm the most proud of now.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I'd love to make Mirka Fortuna from Trinity Blood, but it will stay a dream for a while, i really have to work hard to get better at sewing and painting before.
Tell us a little about yourself
I work in a Transport company, in a customer relationship service. But i also run my own business and sell dolls online (http://www.atelieryume.fr). I live in the beautifull city of Strasbourg in France, a ideal place for photos ^^;
I have 2 cats and live with my boyfriend.
