What got you into cosplay?
Since I was a child, I used to love play roles, put clothes and act, etc... when I first saw a person cosplaying I thought "wow, I would love to do that!" And since I am good at manual things (handicraft?), I really wanted to try... But there was a problem, I didn't have money... so I had to resing watch others... One day I found this great cosplayer Stay (Stayxxxx, Reelca)... I was amazed... I became a fan of her, and she increased my desire to cosplay! But... still NO money. Then i found Yuki LeFay, cosplaying my fav character, Sephiroth! And OH MY! I became a fan of her too xD I couldn't help it, the more I looked on her gallery, the more I liked her... so well... I was like crazy wanting to make cosplay!! When I finally gota work and YAY, MONEY! I had NO time............ 8D life is FUNNY, isn't it? At the beginning of 2008, I found another great cosplayer who captivated my heart, Yolkler (Yolk)... I started to talk with her, and also could chat with my other idol, Yuki. Talking with them made me more and more anxious, I wanted to become a cosplayer like them!! I had tot ell youabout my three idols, because they were my inspiration, I love them so much and I'm SO grateful with them, each helped me to decide my future (?) hahaha really. Cosplay fills my soul, I feel complete. When all the effot is reflected on the costume/prop my heart pounds so hard that I think I'm gonna die xD Yes, I LOVE this, and I want to make cosplay until my body gets tired of living :'3
What was your first costume and why?
It was Natsume Maya, Kimono version. Why? Simple. I like Tenjou, and I hated Maya... YES, I hated her because she stole Nagi from Aya! But then I realized that Aya was a stupid brat and thought "Mmmh... Maya is cool enough!". People loved the idea, they told me she was perfect for me, so... I made her. Oh great! is... GREAT xB
What is your favorite costume and why?
It's difficult, because Simca and Maya took a lot of time and effort... my back and eyes hate those cosplays so much xD But I should say... SIMCA! Oh, I love her so much! I love how the costume got, I simply feel SO proud of her, she was a challenge for me, since my hands shake a lot and painting her pants was so difficul! (Also Maya, but Simca was like... die...).
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Oh yes! I wish I can crossplay... but I can't hide "the evidence".... xD But I would love to make yue, from Card Captor Sakura! Lulu from FF, Shiki from Togainu no Chi, Rai from Lamento, Chua Churam from Chu x Chu Idol (eroge) and a lot more than NOW I can't remember xP
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
My debut. It was so... GREAT! Oh God *chicken skin* I always admired the cosplayers who had a lot of people around them taking photos and stuff, I only could imagine how it would feel! The first time I enter the con, with my cosplay on, I was really ashamed because that was my first time and it felt strange, you know xD So, when I enter people started to turn around and talk, and I was... errrr.... o.o' ... Suddenly a boy asked me for a photo (of course I didn't practice any pose or face, because... I just didn't) so I stand up, put mi shinai behind my neck and.... *flashes* *flashes* *flashes* *flashes* *flashes* *flashes* "OMG" I thought, I was trembling!!! In 5 seconds I had more than 20 people taking photos around me, mumbling and watching me!!! I was so scared xD I don't like to take photos, because I always ugly on them, but I had to admit that it felt INCREDIBLE!! I was TOO happy that people appreciate my work, I was really moved, I wanted to cry, really. My first cosplay was a total success!! :') *chicken skin*
Do you participate in masquerades?
I wish! I would like to have a party like that! :3
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Yes, I entered (officially) in two competitions. and won both with Simca ^-^ One was at Yamato Awake, and I won "Most sexy female cosplay". The other at Anime Friend, I won with my Air Gear Team "Best group performance" (which you can find in my youtube profile, lauly)
Tell us a little about yourself
I'm a PROCASTINATOR! And perfectionist. I have 0 self steem... I hate to take photos of me, when I took them, I like 3 or 4 between 100! xD Sad... TuT' I'm in a Para Para Team, it's called "Hyper Starlight". I love to dance, and Parapara is great! Also is a good exercice xP I'm a cook. I LOVE to eat and cook. I'm so good at my skills at the kitchen P: My phrase is...: live to eat, eat to live" *fatty* xD I love yaoi 8D Yes, I LOVE it! :3 I'm good at drawing, though it took me a lot of time :s Good at handmade stuff also. I make plushes :3 I sell them hehe My cosplay idols are: Stay, yuki and Yolk 83 I work in a pizzería with my brother, is family business ^^ And... dunno, ask me if you want to know :3
