What got you into cosplay?
Sewing seemed like a really fun, useful life skill and just writing bad fanfiction about my favorite characters was no longer a strong enough way to show my devotion.
Plus playing dress up is FUN!
What was your first costume and why?
Um, the first one I wore was Officer Jenny (beacause my name is Jenni, HUR HUR HUR) and the first one I made completely on my own was Double K Yoko (because she's mai waifu)
What is your favorite costume and why?
Twilight Lady, for sure. That thing is insanely accurate and I'm super proud of how well made it is! And wig is ridiculous, too.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Yeeeeeees, it's one of the art book pictures of Yoko.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
An 11 year old boy coming up to me while I was dressed as Miko Mido and saying, "You've made all my dreams come true..."
Do you participate in masquerades?
Yes! I was in Niphrodel's skit at Katsucon 2009 and it was ridiculously fun! Also Muy Bueno's Code Geass Extravaganza of NYAF 2009, which was a blast.
What was your best masquerade experience?
Hmmm, the Code Geass one, I think!
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Nope~
