What got you into cosplay?
I started working in a costume shop in 2004, and worked there for the following three seasons. I loved it, and started making my own costume for fun. I took a break from it to pursue other things, but I'm taking it seriously once again.
What was your first costume and why?
A group of my friends and I dressed up as characters from Alice in Wonderland for my senior homecoming. There were seven of us total, and we spent months slaving on these things. That same week I dressed up as Jack Sparrow...that was fun too.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Bellatrix Lestrange so far. Another group costume that rocked! We were all death eater women from the books. I actually have a real dark mark and wand, so you could say I went all out for it. The kids at the 7th book release were all trying to hex us and curse us, it was a ton of fun.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?

What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
There was a private costume party I had once. It was a Yakuza dinner party, so everyone looked really snazzy and BA. We had dinner and a shoot afterward, with a real cop and weapons! No fingers were lost...
Do you participate in masquerades?
I hosted one once to raise money for Hurricane Katrina victims
