What got you into cosplay?
I always thought it was neat seeing people bringing a video game character to life. Every year I see higher quality costumes, it's really amazing how much effort people put into them. What got me into cosplay is doing it with a group of my friends.
What was your first costume and why?
Yuffie, I had her hair at the time and I knew the character since I played the Final Fantasy 7 game.
What is your favorite costume and why?
My weird kitty ear outfit, it was easy and comfortable. I wore a sweater, jean skirt, knee highs... it was weird haha. I prob will never do that again. I'm more into wearing an actually character costume. Not wearing original characters.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I always wanted to make an Aerith costume from FF7 but there's a lot of good ones out there already.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Seeing Master Shake at Ohayocon 2004. Watching my friend progress at making better costumes every year :)
Do you participate in masquerades?
No, I made the costumes for fun. I'm not good at sewing clothing and I don't like participating in big events like that *LOL* I"m kinda shy.
Tell us a little about yourself
I like to draw, sew, collect (and read) manga, American comics, use linux. The great thing about using Linux is you are always learning something new. I'm currently in college part-time for my Media Arts & Animation major. I work full-time and I'm trying to get a comic published so I'm busy a lot. I run a store called store.kittytreats.org, it's really a hobby but I make sure to please my customers.
