What got you into cosplay?
Probably that the other members that were in my high school's anime club when I first joined were really good...and I thought it would be fun to dress up like they always did.
What was your first costume and why?
A really bad inside joke.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Hmm...Yomiko maybe? There's nothing spectacular about it, but it's comfortable, and one of my favourite retarded anime characters out there. XD
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
No...I'd have to say not....maybe something decent?
Do you participate in masquerades?
I participated in the masquerade the first time I went to Anime North, but then never did so again...I hope I'll actually come up with enough of a skit to do it again someday.
What was your best masquerade experience?
Feeling like I won a dog show when I got my prize ribbon for my first worksmanship award. XD
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
A couple of small ones and worksmanship/hall costume awards. I have stage fright, so I don't like to compete.
Tell us a little about yourself
I love working and currently have 2 jobs (one full time, one part time). I love travelling and will be going to Japan for 2 weeks in May '08. Not much time to work on costumes anymore, but I still like to fiddle around and once in a rare while, I'll make something new.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
I do NOT take commissions (wigs or otherwise). I am currently only willing to make wigs for friends and very close acquaintances, so if you want to ask me to commission a wig for you, please don't. The answer will be "no" anyway. (No offence intended. I just don't have the time or motivation for anything extra right now.)
