What got you into cosplay?
My friend urged me to (everyone else in the group was, ergo I should). I gave in to the peer pressure for once
What was your first costume and why?
Hiro from Lunar 2: Eternal Blue. I had been planning on cosplaying as Duo Maxwell, but that fell through. A friend suggested Hiro as one that could be thrown together quickly (w/i 2 weeks).
What is your favorite costume and why?
Jr. from Xenosaga without a doubt. It wasn't too hard to do, and it ended up really well and wasn't a pain to wear.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Ayato Kamina in his military outfit from RahXephon, as well as Squall Leonheart with his final weapon (the Lionheart) (plastic and blue LEDs should make for a great effect if I can figure out how to pull it off)
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Being assaulted by what seemed like the French Paparazzi as the group I was with stepped off of the elevator at Ushicon 3.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
I've not entered any contests yet, though I'm told I should have with Jr.
Tell us a little about yourself
I graduated high school this year with high honors and have been accepted to the Colorado School of Mines. I will begin my education there this fall.
Outside of anime/cosplay, I'm a big gamer and motorsport freak. I own (and play fairly well) a GameCube, PS2, and a PC capable of playing virtually any game. Challenging me at a driving game is virtual suicide.
As i noted, I am quite a fan of motorsport of most any kind as well. MotoGP, F1, NASCAR, ALMS, SPEED WC, WRC... doesn't matter. If it goes fast, I'm probably there.
