What got you into cosplay?
One day when I was playing the video game Tales of Symphonia with my twin Blood_Sword I suddenly thought meanwhile playing the game, if it was possible to wear a fictional characters clothes (just for fun). I have always loved the design and the clothes of the characters in the game (and still do), so that´s probably how I ended up with the strange thought back then. Later I stumbled upon the world of cosplay at the Internet, and I fell in love with the whole thing immediately. My manga/anime interest has came from that I have always loved Pokémon when I was a kid, without realizing that it was an anime.
What was your first costume and why?
The first one I wore was Naraku from InuYasha, witch was actually made by Blood_Sword. But the first one I did myself was Kratos Aurion from Tales of Symphonia.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Kratos Aurion´s Judgment outfit from Tales of Symphonia.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
It was in Uppcon10 when I queued in front of a very nice, and kind Kratos Aurion cosplayer. Well, so much I love the character I was freaking sold. I mean, what´s the chance that YOU are queuing in front of your favourite character? When the character isnt´t popular to cosplay as?! FREAKING EPIC MOMENT! Is all I have to say. But the most memorable moment was when I hugged her on the second day (softly, I would never forgive myself if I hurt her, or if the costume was damaged) and when she hugged back, I swear I kinda died of happiness (I was Naraku but...oh well xD). Before I hugged her, I said that I´m not the hug-loving kind of person, but I can´t help myself, when my all time favourite character is standing in front of me and looking awesome. Thank you for this amazing moment Zhen´do!
Tell us a little about yourself
I live in Sweden but I´m actually Finnish. So I speak both finnish and swedish fluently also decent english. I enjoy/my interests are: Anime/manga, cosplay, reading, writing, history, drawing, video games, vacation trips, play the piano/guitar and take it easy.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
I tend to like characters that wear capes and mantles of different kind, and I like them even more if they have chains or lots of belts. So to put it simple, I like characters that have a design that mix gothic and medieval clothes and accessories.
