What got you into cosplay?
Spike: I got into cosplay through hanging around other cosplayers. Hearing them go on about it and do it inspired me to take a shot at it.
Kath: Friends got me into it
What was your first costume and why?
Spike: My first cosplay was Mugen from Samurai Champloo but it didn't work. Then I went with Haruma from School Rumble and that similarly fell flat. But then I went with Ace From One Piece, because I liked the character, and I finally hit the bulls-eye.
Kath: Summoner Yuna , I liked her I feel like I am like her in many ways.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Spike: Kira from Bleach, as it was my first complete cosplay.
Kath: Gunner Yuna as I made it with the help of a friend and I feel proud I made it.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Spike: Get together a group of six other people and do a Samurai 7 group cosplay!

What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Spike: My most memorable experience was when we performed this skit at AI-Con 2009 dressed as Link and Zelda. It was one of those moments where everything clicked: I wrote the skit (in the space of several minutes!) and was really proud of it, we had these great cosplays, Kath overcame her nervousness and did a good job with her lines and the audience loved it.

Kath: i won runner up technical Saturday at manifest 09.
Tell us a little about yourself
Spike:
I am a librarian at a school library. And when I'm not shelving books, I can found writing, playing computer and video games, amassing Warhammer armies and cooking dinner.
Kath:
I am web designer who has a love for horses. I'm also in possession of a variety of hobbies and small skills - which is increasing all the time.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
We are a couple who love to cosplay - particularly cosplaying couples from games and anime.
We set this account up together so we can display our cosplays and pics of us as a cosplay couple.
