What got you into cosplay?
In 2002 I went to Japan on exchange with AFS and saw cosplayers for the first time. I just love their styles and the effort they put in. And I love making costumes!!
What was your first costume and why?
My first cosplayed costume was a blue maid outfit. In Japan at certain game centres you can borrow costumes for use in Purikura machines. My first costume I made myself was a Gryffindor Student to wear to the Harry Potter premier because it was quick and easy to make.
What is your favorite costume and why?
My EGL Pikachu outfit, because I have always wanted an EGL outfit since I met a Gosuloli in Japan in 2002, and it's a mix with my favourite Pokemon - Pikachu! It is definitely one I love wearing every time.

What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
AI-Con 2009 - our first time at a con!! On Saturday, I went as Sakura and my boyfriend Jason went as Kero. On Sunday, I went as Pikachu and my boyfriend went as Team Magma Grunt. It was so much fun! ^_^

Pikachu Gijinka - Fruits Fashion: Best Constructed (AI-Con 2009), Fire Luigi - 1st prize in costume parade #5 (Tas Sci-Fi Con 2009), Sakura & Kero - New To Cosplay: Honourable Mention (AI-Con 2009)

I used to work in a sushi cafe! And I currently work as a Tailoress in a clothing alterations shop ^_^
