What got you into cosplay?

What was your first costume and why?
Syaoran, Tsubasa TRC (default) Most of it was easy to find lying around, and the cloak was made for me from scratch. The shirt was a turtleneck altered for me.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Spike, it works with my hair, and my poses look so friggin badass (to me, anyways)
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
A Gundam with a plushie pilot on the shoulder Also, Charles zi Brittania (Code Geass)
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Marching in the Sakura Matsuri 09 parade.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Not yet, but I'd love to.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Haven't really "made" any yet, just cobbled together found items. Therefore, I haven't entered any.
My favorite character(s)
Anybody with (or who discovers) a deep sense of purpose. Examples are Toussen, Syaoran, etc. This does not include idiocy like Naruto and Black Star.
