What got you into cosplay?
Back in 2000, I wanted to go to Anime Expo. I was a big anime fan and my friend Gary made me want to go to this GIANT anime convention in Disneyland (I think that was where ti was in 2000). I couldn't go with him though because he was already taking his friend Garrett. My mother offered to buy me tickets but Gary went as far as to tell me they had SOLD OUT (which isn't true ^_^) lol. So I stayed home that year... but when he got back he told me people dressed up as anime and game characters.
What was your first costume and why?
I chose to do Aeris Gainsborough with the help of Gary. He was much my inspiration at the time because he loved Aeris. He said I looked like her, and that it would be neat to see me in the ensemble. So I began working. It took me almost a whole 6 months to get the costume done. It was my very first one, and the only sewing I knew was the sewing class I had taken in highschool.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Currently it's Fllay Allster... she's just the coolest--followed closely by Helena tied with Maria!
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Hm I realy don't know... Charlotte from VHD Bloodlust.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Definately the little boy at AX 01. Looking back at my costume in it's original appearance.. I'm shocked that it went over so well. Lol. It looked ghettofied. But in the dealers hall this little boy ran up to me and threw his arms around my waist and started crying. He had to have been like, 9 years old. He started saying "You really didn't die! You're alive!" And I was bewildered until his mother told me it was his first convention. lol, but I think that's enough to pull someone into cosplaying.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Nope. I have a very big fear of being in the spotlight. I don't mind when photographers take pictures of me, but when I'm on the stage in front of hundreds of people I get scared.
What was your best masquerade experience?
The only Masquerade I have been in ^_^ It was my first and probably last experience. Kitty and I got up on stage as Aeris and Tifa and did a choreographed skit to "Brandy and Monicas': The Boy is Mine" where we acted catty to each other in a routine fighting over a picture of Cloud Strife. The crowd was screaming so loud that her friend Shaun who played yaoi Sephiroth (he stole the picture from us) could hardly hear his "my preciousssssssssss" cue to steal the picture. It was fun.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
We won runner up for best performance. Very exciting.
Tell us a little about yourself
I don't hate my job, because my job is working alongside Kyle ^_^ <3 it makes me happy. My family lives in Texas and Huntington Beach CA. My only hobbies other than cosplaying are drawing and writing. I always wanted to be an artist but sometimes I get so frustrated with my lack of skill that I have no motivation to move forward :(

Final Fantasy 7, Suikoden III, Star Ocean: Second Story, Morrowind (Stupid CLIFF RACERS!), Baldur's Gate II, Ice Wind Dale was just too hard.. these goblin hordes kept killing us ;_; totally LOVE these games.
My favorite book(s)
I haven't read the Lord of the Rings trilogy, my attention span is short lol. But I want to! Danielle Steel is my favorite author right now. And I've begun reading Harry Potter. I LOVE HARRY POTTER! Yay middle school reading level stuff yay!

Aeris Gainsborough, Tifa Lockheart, Sephiroth, Celine Jules, ARAGORN, Chris Lightfellow, and Hermione Granger ^_^
My favorite movies(s)
Would have to be Return of the King. I just think that it was the most powerful of the three.
My favorite actors/actresses
Miranda Otto, Viggo Mortensen. I used to be unable to answer these questions because I never really cared for any movies or actors. Now I have some that I can love!
