What got you into cosplay?
Back in 2001, I went to Japan Expo with my parents and their friends, and I saw Sailor Jamboree along with some other cosplay.com members. I went home and looked it up and found cosplay. I was thinking "whoa.... you can make costumes of them??" Life-changing experience, maybe?
What was your first costume and why?
To make: Miaka; Fushigi Yuugi (It was the first thing I found a pattern for.)
To wear: Rinoa; Final Fantasy VIII (I had the resources to make it. I like Rinoa :D)
What is your favorite costume and why?
Rinoa and Yuna XD because they're my two favorite characters and Rinoa's is just plain comfortable :)
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Something elaborate, detailed, and my own design. (haha GOOD LUCK ME -_-; )
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Immersing myself in the experience, being recognized, having other conventioneers getting into it too :) "hey Rinoa! Where's your Squall?" XD
Do you participate in masquerades?
Not really. I just entered one, at Japan Expo 2002 with my friend because it was a "spur of the moment" kind of thing.
What was your best masquerade experience?
It was embarrassing, but I liked meeting the other contestants :D
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Nope, but that's not what matters to me ^_^
