What got you into cosplay?
It looked like so much fun! It was a bit of a natural progression for my friend and I. Since we found out that we both like anime (and formed a pretty impressive friendship over that, I might add!) we just talked ourselves into it, and it has finally happened! There are so many cosplays we want to do together now.
What was your first costume and why?
Colonel Mary Spencer from Trinity Blood. I was just blown away by the picture of her in Fabrica Theologiae and just had to do it. Let experience, or lack thereof, be no boundary! I've improved a lot already: from two waistcoats to Trinity Blood. I'm happy.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
At the moment, I just want to remake Mary Spencer in line with my original grand visions for her. I know I can make it fabulous and accurate, and I look forward to it being utterly blinged-out.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Yep!
What was your best masquerade experience?
The only one I've been in so far!
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
My friend and I were honoured to win Best New To Cosplay with my Mary and her Caterina. It's really inspired us to keep cosplaying and improving.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
I LOVE musicals!!!
Les Miserables is my ultimate, number one favourite musical, but I also love Elisabeth (in German, although Takarazuka have some way better costumes), Rebecca, The Phantom of the Opera, and, going Disney: Mulan, Beauty and the Beast, and that's all that's coming to me at the moment... bother...
