Hi! My name is Ginny McQueen and I've been cosplaying since 1998, which makes me very old in this hobby! I've been very fortunate in this hobby and have been invited as a cosplay guest to conventions inside and out of the US.

I work for Cosplay.com and Cosworx, so I am engrossed in cosplay every day (whether I like it or not!). It's pretty much the coolest job on the planet and I get to go to lots of places I would never have otherwise had the chance to.

All my free time is taken up by sewing, being a big nerd, and spending excessive amounts of time with my boyfriend.

What got you into cosplay?
My first con, Otakon '98. ^__^
What was your first costume and why?
Minnie May from Gun Smith Cats. It was easy, I had the hair for it. I didn't really get what cosplay was, it was only my first con!
What is your favorite costume and why?
My Ayanami Rei and Miwako, as they are my favorite anime and manga characters respectively.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I have tons of costumes I would love to make. I just need the time to make them!
Do you participate in masquerades?
I used to, but not anymore. :)
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Yes. It's always nice to have your hard work acknowledged, but even if there were no such thing as awards, I would still make my costumes. It's all for fun.

I like my job, and have all the normal hobbies of a big geek.
