What got you into cosplay?
My friend and I were just really getting into Manga and discovered cosplay on the internet. Deciding that we should try it out sometime we ventured to Milton Keynes Shopping Centre. It was a good first experience, though one I would not want to repeat.
What was your first costume and why?
My first cosplay was L, and it was horrible. I didn't have a wig, and didn't understand about binding. I attempted to style my hair like his which was shoulder length brown...something as I said before I never wish to repeat.
What is your favorite costume and why?
My favorite cosplay has to be Ryohei from Reborn! as I got to yell 'Extreme!' every second and run around like a looney which is how I usually act anyway. I really want to get my own wig for this cosplay, so that I can visit him again.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I have too many dream cosplays to list them here...hopefully I'll get round to some of them soon.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
My most memorable cosplay experience has to be the first convention I went to. It was also my first proper cosplay, and I was a bit over whelmed with all the cosplayers and merchandise. It was where I met most of the people I talk to today so it was deffinetly a weekend I'll never forget.
Do you participate in masquerades?
No I don't, though I would love to do so in the future.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
There was a cosplay competition at a TokyoPop Re:Con that I went to. I didn't actually realize that there would be a cosplay competition and just went in cosplay for the fun of it. I cosplayed L and had lots of fun walking around with no shoes one.
