What got you into cosplay?
Seeing other people cosplay in a magazine back in 2000.
What was your first costume and why?
A ghetto version of Card Captor Sakura's School uniform. XD Oh goodness, it was bad XD!
What is your favorite costume and why?
Currently, my Cherry blossom dress from Tsubasa. I really love all my costumes, but I think this costume was extra special because I was able to accomplish such an elaborate costume with less than three weeks, while being in the middle of exams.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Shanna's Dragoon form. It's like half done... but who knows if I'll ever finish the other half?
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
I've had so many wonderful experiences! I've met some amazing people while cosplaying, including guests and other cosplayers. I had the chance to be a mascot for one of Florida's largest conventions, as well judging at various costume contest, which was such an honor. I hope to meet tons of new people in the future <3 Although I'd have to say that running our own Host Club has been a pretty amazing experience. And most recently, I was able to meet Masao Maruyama, and he told my group we had the best costumes he had ever seen ;_;... made my day.
Do you participate in masquerades?
I've only participated in skits a few times. I'd like to do more! My friends and I tend to run interactive panels such as our Ouran High School Host club panels.

My name's Nikki :), currently living in Orlando Florida. I'm you're typical college student, I'm currently majoring in Mechanical Engineering at UCF and minoring in Robotics, German, and Mathematics. I love anime and video games and all that nerdy fun stuff :D.
