What got you into cosplay?
the urge to celebrate halloween 200 times a year, torture myself with 80 yards of fabric, cry when I sew pieces backwards then whore myself for attention when I finish a costume.
What was your first costume and why?
Anime wise, Nadia from Blue Water
Costume wise..I've been making faire costumes since 13
What is your favorite costume and why?
What mood am I in? Ask me then I'll tell you my favorite costume is for the moment.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
After making the prototype for the venetian courtesan, I would love to do another with hand beaded trim. I'de also love to make a victorian riding outfit.
Anime/Manga wise, one of the designs from Amano's fairy book.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Any moment where children really believe i am a princess/courtesan/character.
Any photo shoot where I can just goof of and do a lot of candids
Do you participate in masquerades?
Retired from the masquerade volunteer madness.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Little things here and there. I get a lot of photoshoot offers which is just as good
Tell us a little about yourself
I am a costume/character/set designer. I do a little freelance work creating costumes and characters and am currently working on a comic book. I also do gallery work and children's books as hobby. I love to travel, and my idea of heaven is constantly seeing new places. I adore creativity and wit.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
I am a freelance illustrator who does about anything ( art-wise ) for money. Currently I am doing a portrait series and a gothic lolita line.
As a "day job" I design houses and interiors.
Hobbies are art, traveling, sewing ( duh ),chainmail, traveling, bellydancing. I am part of the SCA cult
I am happily in a serious relationship and quite content in my 1920's Pasadena house buried under art supplies and fabric.
If anyone cares I hope to start my master's soon in art history.
