What got you into cosplay?
It wasn't until my second time attending a local con that I realized that I wanted to cosplay. I felt so out of place for NOT dressing up as a specific fandom, that I knew it was time for me to finally jump the bandwagon. Now I've entered the dark side, and there's no going back now xD
What was your first costume and why?
Maya Fey from the Phoenix Wright series. I wanted to go as a character where I wouldn't have to buy a wig, and where the outfit was relatively simple enough to make. Plus, Maya is just kinda awesome, and is such a happy and bubbly character. Even when the bad things happen to her, she always has a smile on her face.
What is your favorite costume and why?
I only have one, so Maya for now~ xD
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
A really legit Vampire Knight school uniform cosplay! I know you can buy them already made, but I have such a petite figure that it'd be much better to make the thing from scratch.
I'd also like to dress up as something from Bleach, so I can have a weapon of some sort. Basically anything with a weapon would be awesome xD
And in terms of crossplay, I'd like to attempt pre-time-skip Simon from Gurren Lagann. I'm just in love with his character too much to NOT dress up as him someday~ <3
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
It was my first time cosplaying this year (2009), so I had no idea what to expect. But I was standing in line to pick up my registration, and this guy was trying to convince me that my character was from some obscure anime, and that I had no idea what fandom my character was from >_> Very annoying, but entertaining at the same time xD
Do you participate in masquerades?
I hate doing anything in front of people...especially large audiences.

As of right now, I'm currently studying Graphic Design, and minoring in the Japanese Language. I'm going into my third year, and I expect to grow and learn a lot~
