I am a writer by nature and, unfortunately, can't draw to save my life. I am fairly new to cosplay, but certainly not to the world of anime!
I first became an anime fan in the old days of Sailor Moon airing on Toonami. In 2001 or so, I found Zoids to be entertaining and then, in 2004-2005, I found the wonders of Gundam Wing (still on my top 10 anime list).
In the years since I have found such breathtaking shows as Princess Tutu (my favorite anime of all time), Fullmetal Alchemist, Air (TV), D.N. Angel, Trinity Blood, and many others.
Because of my beliefs and values, I am careful of the shows I watch, FMA and Trinity Blood being the most violent shows I allow in my collection.
I have only been to one convention before (Anime L.A. 2008), but I plan to be attending Saboten Con 2009 soon and show off my first cosplay there. I hope to attend many others in the years afterward. ^_^
