About Me / Q&A
What got you into cosplay?
Just wanted to try cosplaying and it was so much fun.
What was your first costume and why?
Well it was Rei Otohata (street clothes version but with Meisho High School bag) and sorta Ash Ketchum (off colour for hat and jacket but still had Pikachu) at AnimeNorth in 2005. It was because, at the time, Rei Otohata was my favourite character. My first successful cosplay though was Yoh Asakura from Shaman King in 2006.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Kazuma "Kazu" Mikura from Air Gear, which I started wearing as of AnimeNorth 2009. It is my favourite costume not only because Kazu is my favourite anime character, but because it was my most successful cosplay, my most fun cosplay, and I worked hard on the cosplay as well.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
My Kazu costume, which I completed in time for AnimeNorth 2009.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Cosplaying as Kazu at AnimeNorth 2009 and taking part in the Air Gear photoshoot as the only Kazu at the photoshoot. It was so much fun doing all the poses.
