What got you into cosplay?
I randomly stumbled upon a Youtube video of people cosplaying at conventions and was instantly hooked. I did costuming for my high school's drama club so I already had a fair bit of experience.
What was your first costume and why?
My first cosplay was Rikku because I thought (mistakenly) that it would be easy to put together before my first convention. Wrong.
What is your favorite costume and why?
My favorite costume is currently my Ayane from Dead or Alive because I made everything from scratch on that costume, minus the boots. I really think it shows how far I have come since my Rikku cosplay and still shows a lot of potential for my cosplays to come.
I'm also really proud of my Yoko cosplay because I think I succeeded in pulling her off even with an extremely flat chest.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
KOS-MOS from Xenosaga, hands down. However I'm going to wait until I know I can do it the way I envision it, so it's a few years off.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
It's a tie between my walkon with our Bebop group at Ohayocon and getting the loudest cheers in the place and winning and award for my duo with Zaid's Kamina as Yoko.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Most of the time...however I've been taking it easy lately, but might start competing again for next year's Ohayocon.
What was your best masquerade experience?

Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Yes, I won Best Character Resemblance for my Yoko cosplay paired with Zaid's Kamina.
I also won a judge's award for my "Death Note: Epic Win" skit at my first con, Colossalcon 2008.

I go to school full time, work part time, and spend any spare time working on costumes. I also spend way too much time on the internet.
