I'm always asked how I decide which characters to cosplay, so to answer the question before it is asked:
Unlike most people assume, I don't cosplay a character just because I like them, although that does of course help. No, I choose my cosplays down to the character's personality, and if it matches mine.

Take, for instance, Hidan and Tayuya - both foul-mouthed, arrogant, loud and annoying. Those are some of my traits. L - I love sweets, love games, and I have been told that I often think like him when trying to solve something. Captain Jack Sparrow - enough said. I AM Mr Sparrow XD Captain Jack Harkness is probably not QUITE as like me as the others (for instance, me saying 'hello' isn't classed as flirting) but I have been told that I make a good Captain.

I do try to make my own cosplays (I have done the Harkness and L cosplays myself) but for some of them (like Tayuya) I just don't have the skills necessary.

What got you into cosplay?
Well at first I just liked to take on the characteristics of my favourite characters, and then I began dressing like them until - BAM, I'm a cosplayer XD
What was your first costume and why?
Jack Sparrow. Er, sorry, CAPTAIN Jack Sparrow. Why? Because he's awesome? XD
What is your favorite costume and why?
Captain Jack Harkness, at the moment. In future it may become my Sakon&Ukon cosplay, or my Tayuya cosplay.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Well me and my friend want to cosplay as Sakon and Ukon respectively, so we plan to alter a cosplay to fit the both of us at once and separately, so that she can be on my back (and give me my spare limbs), but also walk around by herself. This will mean she'll have to have something to keep her locked onto my back, but something that can be detached easily, and something that will allow movement for her arms and legs when she is being my spare limbs. She will also wear a head-mask thing with Ukon's head/face on the back, so that it looks like she's facing the opposite direction. XD
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
The MCM London Expo in May '09.
Do you participate in masquerades?
I would like to at some point, hopefully with the Sakon&Ukon cosplay.

Tell us a little about yourself
I'm a Jashinist, literally. People don't often take me seriously when I say that, but it's true. I have been called 'the female Hidan' by many, many people in the past, and I agree totally. I'm foul-mouthed, arrogant and annoying - which is why both Hidan and Tayuya are my perfect cosplays.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
I will glomp and molest any Kakuzu cosplayer I see. XD
