What got you into cosplay?
When I first went to Anime Central in 2002, seeing people dressed up was really cool, and I wanted to do it as well. In 2003 I never got around to making a costume, so I wore cat ears and a tail >.>'
What was your first costume and why?
Technically, my first "real" costume would be my Eryun Garnet costume. At the time when I was thinking about who to cosplay as, I fell in love with the anime Brigadoon: Marin to Melan, and thus I decided on Eryun. Although the DDR arrows debuted that same year, so either one technically fits the bill XD
What is your favorite costume and why?
hmm....I'd have to say right now it's a toss up between being one of four DDR arrows, or my Reala costume. Both were fun to be, and I can't decide between the two. Although I have a feeling after ACEN '07 Axel will be my fav XD
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
My first roleplay character Mikani Siranak...although I need to 1. lose weight and 2. learn to sew better >.> Perhaps someday I'll be able to pull him off...
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
When I saw the guy dressed in a box that said "Gundam" on the front of it XD I will remember that for the rest of my life. Also, when my friends and I were DDR arrows and had people willing to pay us $50 each to have us lay down so they could dance on us o_O
Do you participate in masquerades?
I've wanted to, but I can never get a group that's willing to do so, or when I do get a group it falls through due to the members laziness >_< I have yet to participate in one, and I hope to do so at some point!
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Nope, never entered any contests for awards. I cosplay for the fun of it, not to win something :3 Though perhaps someday....
Tell us a little about yourself
Currently, I'm a student in college with a strong love for anime and gaming. I started the anime club at my college, and it has been going strong since. I have 2 pets, a dog named Frisky and a betta named Forte-kun. I like drawing, role playing, video games, and yaoi ^^ I'm currently planning to be a video game designer for a living <3
